چکیده

Cytochrome P450 enzymes (P450s, CYPs) are a superfamily of heme–thiolate proteins involved in the metabolism endogenous and exogenous substances insects. In this study, identification putative was done elimination repeated sequences resulted 57 from Gastropacha populifolia , 63 Dendrolimus punctatus 53 tabulaeformis . The were aligned together with seven other insect species based on five conserved domains. A total ten co-orthologous groups identified. Interestingly, one gene, CYP4g15 CYP4 clan, identified its 3D structure analysis showed that highly sites predicted motifs close to active P450. Furthermore, study revealed two bacteria cytochrome monophyletic. This suggests insects not only functionally but also an ancient gene originating different species.

Cytochrome P450 2S1 is reduced by NADPH-cytochrome P450 reductase.

Cytochrome P450 (P450) 2S1 is one of the orphan P450s without a clear physiological function. Controversy has arisen as to whether it can interact with NADPH-P450 reductase and accept electrons. The reduction of 1,4-bis{[2-(dimethylamino-N-oxide)ethyl]amino}-5,8-dihydroxyanthracene-9,10-dione (AQ4N) by P450 2S1 was confirmed, and the NADPH consumption rates were measured aerobically and anaerob...

Cytochrome P450 Reductase: A Harbinger of Diffusible Reduced Oxygen Species

The bi-enzymatic system of cytochrome P450 (CYP, a hemoprotein) and cytochrome P450 reductase (CPR, a diflavoenzyme) mediate the redox metabolism of diverse indigenous and xenobiotic molecules in various cellular and organ systems, using oxygen and NADPH. Curiously, when a 1:1 ratio is seen to be optimal for metabolism, the ubiquitous CYP:CPR distribution ratio is 10 to 100:1 or higher. Further...

Electron transfer in human cytochrome P450 reductase.

Cytochrome P450 reductase (CPR) is a diflavin enzyme responsible for electron donation to mammalian cytochrome P450 enzymes in the endoplasmic reticulum. Dissection of the enzyme into functional domains and studies by site-directed mutagenesis have enabled detailed characterization of the mechanism of electron transfer using stopped-flow and equilibrium-perturbation methods, and redox potentiom...

Rat Hepatic Cytochrome P450 Genes

Cytochromes P450 (P450) collectively refer to a superfamily of heme-containing enzymes that use 02 and electrons from NADPH to insert a single atom of oxygen into any one of a large number of substrates. Two general classes of P450s exist; a relatively limited number of P450 forms, expressed in specialized tissues that are associated with pathways of steroidogenesis and a large number of forms ...

Cytochrome b5 inhibits electron transfer from NADPH-cytochrome P450 reductase to ferric cytochrome P450 2B4.

Experiments demonstrating that cytochrome (cyt) b5 inhibits the activity of cytochrome P450 2B4 (cyt P450 2B4) at higher concentrations suggested that cyt b5 was occupying the cyt P450 reductase-binding site on cyt P450 2B4 and preventing the reduction of ferric cyt P450 (Zhang, H., Im, S.-C., and Waskell, L. (2007) J. Biol. Chem. 282, 29766-29776). In this work experiments were undertaken with...
